Electroplating System Tin Zinc

Electroplating at home is easier than you think when you use this tin zinc electroplating system. The Eastwood Tin-Zinc Electroplating System brings back the original brilliant luster to properly prepared metal parts, while providing a corrosion-resistant, protective plating similar to chrome—but without the expense, hassles or hazards. Plate almost any metal part right at home, including brass, copper, and steel (not for aluminum, die-cast, pot metal or stainless).
How it works: Make sure parts are thoroughly degreased and de-rusted before you start electroplating at home. Electroplating uses electrical current to pull small amounts of metal from the positively charged tin-zinc anode bar, through the electrolyte solution, and onto the negatively charged piece to be plated. Plating begins immediately once the piece is submerged into the solution. The longer the piece is submerged, the heavier the plating on the piece will be. You may remove the piece from the solution to check the progress, then re-submerge it for a thicker coating. The tin zinc electroplating process is complete when the piece is covered with a uniform dull gray film. Then polish to a beautiful shine.

Calyx Manifold Coating

Make your vehicle's exhaust manifolds look new with Calyx. Easy to apply and long lasting. For optimum results, manifolds should be removed, abrasive blasted, and wiped down with PRE, before applying. If you wish to apply while the manifolds are installed on the engine, use a wire brush to remove surface rust and dirt, then wipe down with PRE. Apply Calyx with a rag or toothbrush, and work it into the pores of the metal. For a buffed appearance, use a fingernail brush. Make your exhaust manifolds look like new in a few minutes. Not as durable as our paint on coatings but convenient and easy to apply because there's no disassembly required. Just remove loose rust and rub in thoroughly. Non-toxic and water-soluble. A little goes a long way one container treats 8-10 typical V8 exhaust manifolds. Includes Instructions. Made in USA.
